Hello Students!
It's time to get this blog moving. If you need a tutorial on the mechanics of blogging, then visit this page and select "write a post" to watch a video.
To make your posts about Lysistrata, please select "new post", give your post the title "Lysistrata" and the general topic of your post. For example, if you were going to talk about the function of the chorus in the work, you would label your post "Lysistrata - The Function of the Chorus" -- this should help your peers scan post titles to see if their topic has been taken.
Additionally, please select at least two labels in the labels box to the right. For the example I gave, you might write "Lysistrata" and "Chorus". This way, we can search through the posts more efficiently when it is midterm time.
Inspired by our discussion this evening of the course policies, I have decided to give everyone who makes a significant post for Lysistrata full credit. As I said, this should help us calibrate the expectations of the rubric. Also, because the comment portion should take less time than writing an actual post, our new submission deadline is Monday at 11:59pm (for posts) . The comment deadline (Tuesday 11:59pm) remains intact.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
(BTW, this post is 202 words...and it isn't that long!)
